Our Story — N’ Strokes
Our Story
N’ Strokes
Our journey began in college, where we were eight friends studying commercial
art. Painting was part of our education, but it was also our passion —
something we wanted to explore beyond the classroom. We painted together, worked
with oil on canvas, learned through copywork, and grew through exhibitions. As eight
friends and eight artists, we signed our work as 8’Strokes.
Life gradually took us in different directions. Marriage brought two of us — Nipa and
Nidhi — to Belgium, unexpectedly to the same city. After becoming mothers, our
shared love for painting quietly returned. With encouragement from family and our
first commission in Belgium, we picked up our brushes again. What once began as
8’ Strokes now continues as N’ Strokes — a reflection of our names and the
journey that brought us here.
For us, art is more than painting — it is meditation. When we paint, the world
becomes quiet. We forget time, food, and everything around us. Colours make us feel
complete, calm, and deeply happy. The canvas becomes a space where emotions flow
freely and where we express what words cannot.
Restarting our journey together felt natural. Working with someone who understands your
rhythm, your silence, and your emotions makes creation joyful. We began by painting
individually and sharing our work in local street art markets. One quiet moment there
changed everything — we asked ourselves, why not paint together on one canvas?
That question became our identity: two artists, one canvas — blending thoughts,
emotions, and energy into a single story.
Today, we continue to create with the same intention: to bring warmth, positivity,
and connection through our art. We hope our Art Works add a sense of
happiness and calm wherever they live — in homes, offices, or any space that
welcomes them. If our work can brighten a corner of someone’s life or create a
moment of peace, we feel deeply grateful. This is N’s Strokes — art created
together, meant to be felt.
